"Canned Fish and Seafood Sound Good with Everything" Uses Sound to Highlight Culinary Versatility

VIGO - ANFACO-CECOPESCA (ANFACO-CYTMA), in collaboration with the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) under the Alimentos de España (Foods from Spain) strategy and the campaign #LlenaTuMesaDeMar (Fill Your Table with Sea), has launched an innovative multichannel communication effort.

The campaign, titled "Canned fish and seafood sound good with everything," began on November 4 with the goal of strengthening the awareness, encouraging daily consumption, and highlighting the versatility and benefits of canned fish and seafood.

The strategy focuses on the sensory experience and includes:

  • Central Sensory Piece: A promotional video that uses ASMR kitchen sounds (like the crunch of bread and the click of opening a can) to immerse the viewer in the eating experience.

  • Widespread Distribution: The video is being shared on digital platforms such as Instagram, Facebook, YouTube Shorts, and Tik Tok.

  • National Radio: A radio spot reproducing these characteristic sounds is airing in key communities like Madrid, Valencia, Andalusia, Castilla y León, Galicia, and the Basque Country.

  • Featured Collaboration: The campaign includes a collaboration with the renowned gastronomic influencer Pablo Suárez (@poesiadefogon).

The creative approach aims to demonstrate that canned goods are a practical ingredient that fits into any moment and recipe, from stews to salads or appetizers.
