Marel Food Systems acquired UK based AEW Delford Systems Ltd. in 2006 – the first step in the company’s strategy to become a leading global manufacturer of food processing equipment through rapid external growth. AEW Delford Systems was formed in 1999, bringing together three renowned companies: AEW Engineering, Thurne Engineering and Delford Sortaweigh, each of which had been a leader in its field.
