A major purpose of Fisheries Iceland is to increase value creation from a scarce resource. The fishing industry is a competitive industry with high demand for professionals with diverse backgrounds, education and experience. The new association will safeguard the interests of its members and function as Iceland’s association of companies in the fishing industry.
