Green light given for multi-million dollar investments in Los Lagos

The Regional Environmental Commission (Corema) of the Region of Los Lagos, has approved a number of projects for the construction and modification of fish farm facilities, which will involve investments of over USD 48 million.
One of the investments will be made by Aguas Claras, which presented a plan to change its Río Chaica fish farming center, for USD 30 million, which will involve a workforce of 460 people.
This initiative will result in them building an area of 30,000 square meters. There, during the first stage, they will create a center for salmon farming. Then they will try to incorporate the production and sale of these products, reported Crónicas del Sur.
