Sociedad Pesquera Coloso S.A. (Public, SCL:COLOSO) is a Chile-based company active in the fishing and food processing sectors. The Company owns such subsidiaries as Pesquera San Jose SA and Salmones Humboldt SA. It also holds a 23% interest in Corpesca SA and a minority interest in Agroindustrial Santa Cruz Ltda.
Through its subsidiaries, the Company is engaged in the production of canned sea products and ready-to-eat meals, frozen fish and mussels, fish oil and steam dried fishmeal, as well as in the production and breeding of salmon and trout.
The Company has a fleet of 10 fishing vessels with a total storage apacity of approximately 9.850 cubic meters. It is a 30.51%-owned affiliate of Inversiones el Ceibo SA. The Company exports its products worldwide.
