The BASF Polyurethanes GmbH (until 31 March 2010 Elastogran GmbH ) is a German manufacturer of plastics and is among the leading companies in the field of manufacture of specialty plastic polyurethane (PU).
The headquarters is located in Lower Saxony District Diepholz in Lemförde . At the end of 2011, BASF Polyurethanes employed 1,967 employees. Consolidated sales of polyurethane companies in Europe amounted to 2.4 billion euros. For BASF Polyurethanes Europe include the headquarters in Lemförde and 15 polyurethane systems houses in European Economic Area (EMEA). The company is located in 1971 to 100 percent owned by BASF and has worked for 50 years with PU products. The product range includes PU basic products, PU systems, special PU elastomers.
