Only ecolabels seem insufficient to change seafood consumption habits

A team of researchers from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) has concluded that ecolabels do not motivate consumers to buy sustainable seafood as much as thought.
The scientists, studying whether seafood ecolabel changes consumers' shopping habits, found that more seafood is being bought – including options that were not sustainably harvested.
