Spain is one of the main producers of European aquaculture, being considered a key sector in the food chain that is supported by a strong, competitive and highly technological value chain.
The International Aquaculture Industry Exhibition, Aquafuture Spain, is the largest technological, training, informative and commercial meeting of the aquaculture sector in southern Europe. More than 150 exhibitors from 24 countries and 2,500 professional visitors participated in its second edition.
In Aquafuture Spain, aquaculture as a whole is represented: from marine and continental aquaculture with all its variety of fish, to the cultivation of mollusks (mussels, oysters, clams...) and addressing new challenges such as algae cultivation.
Visitors and exhibitors will be able to enjoy the different spaces offered by Aquafuture Spain in order to address all the present and future challenges of the sector, both technological and commercial.
