The National Chamber of Aquaculture was created on July 28, 1993, to meet the specific needs of the aquaculture sector that had been growing at an impressive rate and, to be represented approximately $ 500 million annual foreign sales, be the third largest foreign exchange earner for the country and generate employment for over 200,000 Ecuadorians, required an institutional entity that will cover the technical and commercial sensitivities of the various phases or sub.
