Since 1991, FAAPE has defended the common interests of the different Associations of Fishing Owners of Andalusia before the Competent Administrations.
Our mission is to highlight the social and economic value of the work carried out by the associated groups, so as to guarantee the commercial and labor viability of the shipowner companies in the exercise of their fishing activity. To do this, we highlight the sustainable and responsible nature of the fishing gear traditionally used by Andalusian shipowners, always committed to protecting the environment and the prosperity of the fishing sector.
FAAPE provides associated groups with all the existing information on the legal provisions on fishing formulated by national and international organizations. In addition, it acts as an interlocutor between its associates and said organizations when presenting allegations regarding regulatory projects that may affect the performance of fishing activity.
