Once again, the Spanish Aquaculture Society (SEA) is pleased to invite you to the upcoming 20th National Aquaculture Congress, to be held from June 1st to 4th, 2026, at the Afundación Headquarters in Vigo. This year, we return to Galicia, to the origins of the National Aquaculture Congresses (CNA). Specifically, the first congress was held in O Grove in 1985, an initiative of the Marine Research Center (Xunta de Galicia). Given that Galicia is the leading Autonomous Community in Spain for marine aquaculture production, and where the aquaculture sector has significant socioeconomic weight, the SEA has chosen the city of Vigo as the venue to commemorate both the 20th edition and the 40th anniversary of the first congress.
