Certus has been formed as the company through which to acquire Scottish Food Quality Certification Limited (SFQC), and to provide on-going investment in, and development of, SFQC’s services.
Certus will focus on farmers and growers, and food safety, broadening its offer to include sustainable and responsible sourcing, environment and quality systems as well as traceability services. Certus will concentrate on Scotland and the wider UK, but will also develop its certification activities in Europe and beyond. The intention is to make available to its customers the most comprehensive range of standards and associated services.
