Bank Extends Collaboration with Gastronomic and Musical Event Now Firmly Established on the City's Summer Agenda
Vigo - ABANCA and the Cooperativa de Armadores de Pesca del Puerto de Vigo (ARVI) are joining forces for the sixth edition of 'Vigo SeaFest', set to take place in the Montero Ríos gardens from July 10 to 13. The bank is once again throwing its support behind this gastronomic, musical, sporting, educational, and cultural event, having collaborated with it since its inception in 2017.
The renewal of the collaboration agreement was formalized this morning at ARVI's headquarters. Walter Álvarez, ABANCA's Territorial Director in Vigo, and Javier Touza, ARVI's President, were responsible for signing the new document, which strengthens the solid relationship between both entities and opens the door to new avenues of cooperation to continue promoting a unique event that highlights seafood products. The ceremony also saw the participation of Javier Fraga, Director of ABANCA Mar, and Edelmiro Ulloa, Managing Director of ARVI.

This endorsement from the financial institution makes a new edition of the festival possible. As in previous years, Vigo SeaFest will be a free event open to all audiences, cementing its status as an inclusive and accessible gathering.
Under the theme of promoting fish consumption, fourteen renowned chefs will offer signature creations made with seafood, emphasizing its quality and versatility. Simultaneously, gastronomic and educational activities will highlight marine protein as a healthy, safe, and sustainable food source.
During the festival's four days, the public can also enjoy musical performances, family workshops, children's activities, and sports proposals, all in an environment designed for the whole family. The complete program for this sixth edition will be available in the coming days on the event's official website:

Committed to the Maritime World
The signing of this new agreement to boost Vigo SeaFest represents another step in the strong and long-standing collaboration between ABANCA and ARVI. This strategic alliance not only reinforces the commitment to promoting the festival but also includes advantageous financial conditions for vessel owners associated with ARVI.
Thanks to this agreement, professionals in the sector will be able to access flexible financing solutions tailored to their specific needs, with particular attention to investments aimed at energy efficiency, biodiversity preservation, and reducing the climate impact of the fishing fleet.
In this context, the specialized unit ABANCA Mar is consolidating itself as an innovative proposition in the sector, offering its own catalog of products and services, as well as highly specialized advice based on direct knowledge of the fishing community's needs.
