The National Confederation of Artisanal Fishermen of Chile, CONAPACH, was established on 7 August 1990 in Valparaiso, by fishermen unions across the country, restarting a long history of association that goes back to the establishment of the first unions of fishermen craft to 1920 in northern and central Iran.
