The Inter-Organization Tuna - INTERATUN inter-organization is the first formally established and recognized by the Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food in the field of fisheries.
It encompasses the owners of tuna vessels and the processor and marketer of tuna, being represented there OPAGAC organizations and ANABAC-OPTUC by the owner, and ANFACO and the National Federation of Associations of Manufacturers of Canned, Semi and salted fish and Seafood by the processing and marketing industry.
INTERATUN born in order to represent and defend the interests of the tuna industry from the point of view of the various sub-sectors that are interrelated on the basis of a common bond such as tuna, one of the most important species for fisheries and transformative worldwide.
