Conarpesa, which operates a fleet of twenty-two pole, coastal and deep-sea fishing vessels and owns four processing plants in Patagonia, since last week has become part of Wofco, a company dedicated to fishing, processing and initially marketing of seafood, which was founded in Cangas in 2016 and later moved its headquarters to Vigo for logistical reasons. The firm was created by Alberto Barreiro and Borja Tenorio, but they soon strategically added partners that allowed it surprising growth.
