The end of hope for the sushi entity of Labeyrie, in Boulogne-sur-Mer. The Sofipêche company having reconsidered its intention to buy the company , it will not change hands at the end of the year.
“We informed our elected officials (union members, Editor’s note) at the beginning of September of this withdrawal (of Sofipêche, Editor’s note),”confirms Laurent Lasquibar, industrial director of seafood and local products for the Labeyrie Fine Foods group. The closure of the factory as part of a job protection plan is therefore official.
