Grimsby-located seafood processor Albert Darnell has been bought out by Surrey-based New England Seafood International (NESI), as part of the latter's expansion plans.
Through this purchase, the firm’s new owner has swooped for the Europarc business as well as more than two acres of neighbouring land, The Grimsby Telegraph reported.
"This is great for the area. One thing that they have done is purchased land at the back of the factory too, a further 2.2 acres, and that tells its own story,” pointed out Mike Woods, the managing director of the sold firm.
