(ECUADOR, 6/22/2017)
Ecuador will continue to export yellowfin tuna and its derivatives to the United States market after having obtained a renewal of positive certification under the US Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA) this year.
This authorization implies that the Ecuadorian tuna fleet complies with the requirements of the US Magnuson-Stevens Fisheries Conservation and Management Act.
