Magni Thor Geirsson is Managing Director of Icelandic UK, which he founded for the Icelandic Group in 1998. He came to England from Germany, where he had been head of sales for Icelandic Germany since 1993. Up to that time he had been marketing manager for shellfish products at the Icelandic Group, which he joined in 1990. Magni Þór completed a degree in fisheries technology at the Technical College of Iceland in 1982 and took a Masters Degree in fisheries studies at the University of Tromsö in Norway in 1989. 

He is a current member of the Board of Directors of the Association of Fish Fillet Suppliers in England.
