PJSC "Russian Aquaculture" is the leader in the Russian market of commercial aquaculture, which focuses on the cultivation of the red fish, such as Atlantic salmon and rainbow trout.
PJSC "Russian Aquaculture" deals with two segments:
Commercial rainbow trout cultivation in the Republic of Karelia.
Commercial Atlantic salmon cultivation in the Murmansk region.
PJSC "Russian Aquaculture"’s portfolio includes 29 areas for commercial cultivation of salmon and trout on the lakes in Karelia and in the Barents and White seas. The total volume of potential cultivation amounts to nearly 70 thousand tons which is expected to cover the overall consumption of salmon and trout in Russia.
In February 2015, the Company JSC “Russian Sea” Group officially announced the renaming to PJSC “Russian Aquaculture”, which reflects a long-term strategy of the Company aimed at founding the first vertically integrated company in the aquaculture sector in Russia.
In August 2022 "Russian Aquaculture" announced the change of the company's name to INARCTICA.
