As a mother, filmmaker, writer, activist, and citizen I'm deeply concerned about the state of our ocean: Will we be leaving our children waters that are impoverished or bountiful? For me, the sea is a sacred place. It provides us with replenishment, beauty, and dreams. My debut jewelry collection reflects my gratitude. Designed to further communicate the message of my documentary, Mission of Mermaids, each piece in the collection represents the exuberance of wild places and a commitment to the protection of our waters.
