The Seafood and Fisheries Emerging Technologies – SAFET is a U.S. non-profit initiative founded in 2014 that serves as an impartial global platform bridging the gap between technology solution providers and the needs of the seafood and fisheries sector. We convene fishers, regulators, industry leaders, scientists, and technology providers to accelerate solutions that drive sustainable fishing, build healthy oceans, strengthen resilient communities, and ensure transparent, trusted supply chains.

SAFET’s mission is to realize the full potential of the digital revolution for ensuring the sustainability and resilience of fisheries and the communities that depend on them, globally. We bring together technologists, industry stakeholders, and government to utilise technology and resolve the biggest challenges in seafood and fisheries.
