Since 1995 HAVdyrkerne has been one of Norway's largest and leading network organisations for small, family-owned fish-farming companies.
By targeting reduced costs, improved quality, security and traceability, we have attained results that place our members among the most profitable and secure companies in Norway.
The main tasks of HAVdyrkerne are to:
Negotiate good feed and insurance agreements
Secure other good delivery agreements for our members
Strengthen and standardise quality control in connection with our members' production of farmed fish.
Improve our members' profits through extensive research into profitability, and through benchmarking projects
To strengthen our members' expertise by hiring leading aquaculture and financial experts in the country to develop and hold courses and seminars
Participate in the development of new products and markets in co-operation with fish farmers and the sales organisations
