Argo Securities is a securities brokerage company in the SpareBank 1 alliance. Argo is owned 72,5 % by SpareBank 1 Gruppen and 27,5 % by employees. The company has its headquarters in Oslo and a corporate finance department in Stockholm. Our business areas include research, equity sales, debt capital, alternative investments and corporate finance.

Argo Securities is, through the co-operation in the SpareBank 1 alliance, a part of Norway’s largest provider of financial services, and an adequate alternative to traditional financial groups. The co-operation in the alliance comprises approximately 350 bank branches and offices with total assets of about NOK 500 million and  5450 employees, of which 1150 are employed by SpareBank 1 Gruppen and subsidiaries.

The SpareBank 1 alliance is a collaboration venture between banks and financial products providers, in which 23 SpareBank 1 banks in Norway co-operate through the holding company SpareBank1 Gruppen AS, which was established in 1996.
