All of Aker Seafoods J.M. Johansen’s operations are located in Stamsund in Lofoten, Norway. The company, which was established in 1876, was Norway’s largest producer and exporter of world-famous Norwegian stockfish well into the 1980s.
Today, the company is wholly owned by Aker Seafoods ASA. Following major investments in J.M Johansen, the facilities feature a state-of-the-art filet plant with the most modern production equipment available.
