Established in 2005, the company’s reputation has been built through our commitment to quality, integrity and service. Our attention to the details continues to pay off, and it separates us from our competition. We continually strive to build sales relationships that are interactive, synergistic and productive.
We are very adept at harnessing and developing the infrastructures necessary to get high-quality seafood products to market successfully. Constantly looking for new opportunities, we maintain excellent relations with our partner producer companies throughout Central and South America.
When you’re building your own brands, it makes good sense to draw from the highest-quality products you can get. That’s why choosing MiCal Seafood is the smart choice. With a broad range of species, fresh and frozen, in a variety of cuts, you can offer your customers the selection they want, at a price that means business. With retail ad commitments and long-term speculation for proper market positioning, we can accommodate all of your needs.
All of our fish are wild-caught in some of the world’s best fisheries throughout Central, South America and Asia. Our shellfish products from these areas are either wild-caught or farm raised (shrimp). We specialize primarily in Caribbean species of reef, coastal pelagic and ocean pelagic fish varieties. We have carefully controlled and groomed the various snapper fisheries in Central and South America to ensure that we get the best quality Snapper (our specialty) available.
Snapper, Grouper, Mahi, Corvina, Tuna and a host of peripheral species from these areas are shipped to the U.S. daily, either fresh or frozen. All of our frozen products can be processed either conventionally (natural) or CO-treated to enhance appearance.
