Established since 1992, the company has brought a number of sophisticated wireless monitoring systems to the market. NOTUS' head office is located in Newfoundland, Canada. NOTUS has also established a branch office in the United Kingdom - NOTUS UK. This is managed by an ex captain and provides full sales and service support for the entire country. NOTUS UK has supplied the Trawlmaster for twin rigs to vessels all over the UK. Skippers have been very pleased because immediate improvements have been seen in fishing.

NOTUS' products are supported in other countries via a wide network of distributors and dealers that have been comprehensively trained in service.
