Melanie is well known in the aquaculture industry in Eastern Canada and in the food certification community - and completed her formal education at UNBSJ (BSc in Marine Biology) and MUN (Advanced Diploma in Aquaculture Sustainability).
As esqu’s first Director of Safety, Quality & Sustainability, Melanie provides our partners with on-the-ground leadership in food source production, processing and certification. Her contribution improves transparency, trust and consistency by effectively leveraging the ability of retailers, distributors and producers to maximize the value and sustainability of their business.
