On Galician markets, during week 9, total volumes of auctioned shellfish increased by 59 tonnes. The most important increases were reported by the manila clam and sea urchin. The most important drops were those of banded carpet shell and spider crab.

On Mercamadrid, during week 9, the most important drops were registered in frozen spider crab, frozen ox crab and frozen cockles. The most important rises were those of fresh mussels, fresh razor shell, frozen scallop and fresh sea crab.

At French ports, during week 9, volumes of striped venus dropped by almost 12 tonnes and those of Norway lobster increased by 5 tonnes.

Italy

At Italian ports, during week 9, volumes of mussels and pelican's foot declined; variations in stone crab were very slight. In the rest of species volumes increased, especially mantis shrimp and striped venus. The main ports were those of Goro, Ancona, Aci Trezza and Cesenatico.

Spain

On Galician markets, during week 9, the most important drops in prices were registered in grooved carpet shell, oyster, sabre clam and razor shell. All of them reported a rise in supplies. The most significant increases were those in Norway lobster, barnacle and manila clam, as a consequence of the higher demand.

At Italian ports, during week 9, prices of crab declined considerably and so did those of Norway lobster, spider crab and dye murex, to a lesser extent. Those of the rest of the species increased. The most important rises were those in pelican’s foot and striped venus.
