On Galician markets, during week 12, total volumes of auctioned shellfish declined by 44 tonnes. The most important drops were those in cockles, manila clam, grooved carpet shell and pullet carpet shell. The highest rise was reported by sea urchin.

On Mercamadrid, during week 12, supplies of shellfish increased in most species, except for frozen scallops and fresh donax, which declined slightly. The most important increases were those in fresh lobster, frozen cockles, farmed clam and fresh mussels.

Italy

At Italian ports, during week 12, volumes of striped venus and mussels dropped slightly. Those of mantis shrimp, crab, dye mures, stone crab and pelican’s foot increased. The rest of species reported no volumes or very slight changes. The main ports were those of Goro, Aci Trezza and Ancona.
