To find out more, you are invited to join Seafish at a free event in Aberdeen on Tuesday, 4 June 2013 where we will be presenting on a number of consumer related topics, all focussed on keeping you up to date with the latest news, views and trends in the seafood industry.
This event will cover topics that relate to your customers, including market data, eating and consumer trends, sustainability, healthy eating and much, much more.

An opportunity to hear about the core trends within the foodservice sector and how consumer behavior has changed over recent times due to the economic climate. Focus will also be made on the performance of seafood in relation to other major proteins, as well as exploring the opportunities for seafood products to grow and develop in what is a tough and challenging marketplace. Also included will be an evaluation of the fish and chip channel in relation to other takeaway food channels.

Additional Session: An introduction to the food service industry
In advance ofthe main agenda, we will be hosting a short session looking at the structure of the UK foodservice industry and the opportunities for seafood companies to enter this exciting and diverse sector. This session is primarily aimed at businesses new to the foodservice sector, although is open for anyone to attend. The session will be delivered by Seafood Scotland and will run from 10.00am to 10.45am. Please detail in your response if you would like to attend this particular session.
