PERTE Mar-Industria Success: €40 Million Allocated to Boost Sector Investment and Sustainability

Spain's Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food has finalized the PERTE Mar-Industria call, granting €40 million to 19 projects. ANFACO-CECOPESCA hails the initiative, emphasizing the sector's leadership in transformative sustainability and digitalization investments, though it notes that budget limitations excluded other quality projects. MADRID – The Spanish sea-industry sector has received a significant boost with the definitive resolution of the PERTE Mar-Industria call for proposals. The Ministry of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food (MAPA) has allocated the full €40 million originally earmarked, which will be distributed among 19 high-impact business projects.
