Illex squid in the Argentine EEZ: catches of the summer spawning stock decline after a record start to the season

ARGENTINA

Average catches in recent days fell from 36 tons to around 14 tons. By March 3, more than 123 thousand tons had been landed, while questions are growing about the presence of the South Patagonian stock south of 49° S, according to Revista Puerto.
