The breeding of various species, such as trout, fan shell, shrimp, Amazonian fish, squid, parakeet and macroalgae, has made it possible to satisfy the changing demands of consumers and guarantee the sustainability of food production in the country.

Main projects

Specific projects, such as "Production of highly profitable rainbow trout (Oncorhynchus mykiss) fingerlings" and "Improvement of the value chain through the optimization of safety and quality in the process of gutting rainbow trout in the mountains north of Lima", have promoted innovative activities in the trout value chain.
