SPI Astilleros is the most important national private shipyard. Its headquarters are located in the Port of Mar del Plata. It has its own facilities for constructions, repairs and transformations. Its two floating docks allow it to simultaneously carry out several repair and / or transformation works on ships of different sizes. It also has a synchronous unit (Syncrolift) and a 1,300m2 shipbuilding plant.
