The story of Kemal Balikçilik which has started with fishing in Samsun in 1950's now continues with 8 production facilities and Bluefin tuna, sea bream, sea bass and trout farms those located in various provinces of Turkey.
Today, Kemal Balikçilik being managed by the 3rd generation is the leading aquaculture products exporter of Turkey and exports its products to more than 50 countries worldwide.European countries such as France, Switzerland, Germany, Italy, Spain, Poland, Romania and many other countries such as Japan, USA, China, Canada, Russian Federation and Ukraine are among the countries where the products are exported to.
The company's product variety keeps on expanding since it was established. The journey of the company on exports field which has started with fresh fish products now continues with live frog, fresh frog legs, Bluefin tuna, top shell, cuttlefish, wild mushrooms, marinated products, pike perch fillet, rainbow trout, sea bream and sea bass.
The company has production facilities in Adana, Antalya, Ipsala, Istanbul, Izmir, Sinop and Tekirdag. The entirety of the facilities is under the supervision of Ministry of Food, Agriculture and Livestock. European Union exports registration numbers of all of the facilities have been published on the official web site of EU Commission‘s Directorate-General for Health and Consumers.
The sea bream and sea bass farms of the company are located at Karaburun Gulf, Izmir. Advance technology fish farms of the leading sea bream and sea bass producer Company of Turkey, Kemal Balikçilik, are automatic feeding system furnished facilities which carry out the production activities only with off-shore systems.
Kemal Balikçilik is the first in Turkey in packing the harvested fish on the sea right after the harvest and still carries on packing with this method. The process of packing on sea is being carried out by means of TuncaySaygun boat which has an EU export registration number. Packing the harvested fish on boat provides freshness and long lasting of the products.
