Arnarlax was founded in Bildudalur, a small Icelandic village inside a long fjord called Arnarfjordur. Bildudalur is the hometown to the founders so they knew that the that the region offers dynamic conditions, high quality seawater and low temperatures that create the perfect settings for a healthy natural salmon
2016 - The merger of Arnarlax and Fjardalax, under the terms of Arnarlax, becomes the largest aquaculture company in Iceland. A united company will have a total of 21,000 tons of firewood in three fjords; Arnarfjordur, Tálknafjörður and Patreksfjordur.
