The document considers the analyzes of mortality declarations from marine and freshwater farming centers grouped by region, as well as their associated causes. It should be noted that this edition includes a section on mortality per cycle, including the number of dead fish and the percentage of accumulated mortality, differentiated by species, region and company.
Health Situation:
The report highlights that Chile maintains its status free of List 1 diseases, based on the robust surveillance system in accordance with the guidelines of the World Organization for Animal Health (WHO). Regarding Infectious Salmon Anemia, a case was presented in the Magallanes region categorized as an outbreak center, that is, with signs associated with the disease, which was successfully contained.

Regarding Caligidosis, both in the Los Lagos region and in the Aysén region the highest loads were recorded in the months of March and June. Likewise, in the Aysén region, an increase in loads was recorded compared to the same period in 2022. Meanwhile, in the Magallanes region there were no confirmed cases.
In the case of Piscirickettiosis, the behavior of the previous period was maintained, where the High Dissemination Centers (CAD) concentrate on those with heavier fish.
In relation to mortality reports in marine centers, a decrease in the average monthly mortality percentage of 0.4% was recorded in relation to the same period in 2022. The main causes of infectious mortality corresponded to Pisciricekttsiosis in Atlantic Salmon, IPN in Trout rainbow (mostly explained by mortality of 1 center) and Icteric Syndrome in Coho Salmon. Meanwhile, in freshwater centers the average monthly mortality percentage increased by 0.44% versus the first half of 2022.
