"The fault committed by the certifier affects the possibility of early detection of cases, putting at risk the timely management of salmon disease control measures to protect the common good, which is why a significant sanction was determined given the high impact of non-compliance in the health management of aquaculture,” said Mónica Rojas, Deputy Director of Aquaculture at Sernapesca.
These sanctions are the result of the inspection activities carried out by officials of the Animal Health Department of Sernapesca of the regions of Aysén and Magallanes within the framework of the special Aquaculture Inspection Plan.
