Seafood Champions range from companies that have made sustainability a business choice to inspired individuals who single handedly moved their organizations to sustainability; from powerful corporations to small scale fishers, and from high profile public figures to government officials and chefs.
The Seafood Champion Awards continue to evolve to ensure that individuals or organizations who receive the Award represent the full diversity of large and small industry, academia, media, and non-profit stakeholders in the sustainable seafood movement.
The finalists for theSeafood Champion Awards were announced at the fifth edition of Seafood Expo Asia in Hong Kong.
Following specific criteria, judges of this acclaimed award selected sixteen finalists. For the first time, this year's Awards include four categories: Leadership, Innovation, Vision and Advocacy.
