Thursday, December 01, 2022

Three companies, including JR East railway company, began a demonstration test of farming vannamei shrimp at Namie Station on the Joban Line in Namie Town, Fukushima Prefecture. About 3,000 fish are bred in a container-type aquaculture facility (about 10 square meters) set up next to the station building.

According to the developer, ARK in Shibuya Ward, the water is purified by circulating it, and the water temperature and oxygen level can be remotely monitored using a smartphone app.
