FIS will publish weekly (every Friday) each of the 4 species that the Squid Index registers.

Southwest Pacific squid price index (Illex Argentinus)

Collects squid transaction prices from major domestic squid fishing companies and the Zhoushan Aquatic Products Trading Center. It is compiled from statistics of different specifications in the four major regions of the Southeast Pacific, Southwest Atlantic, Northwest Pacific, and Indian Ocean, reflecting the changing trend of domestic squid prices.

Resource abundance index (average base ratio for the same period)

Collects relevant data on the abundance of squid resources in the four major seas. Through calculation, it reflects the distribution of exploitable squid resources and guides the sustainable development of Chinese ocean-going squid fishing enterprises.
