Bremnes Seashore headquartered in Økland harbor in Bømlo Municipality. Here, the agency continue to from the beginning in 1937. In recent years the company has experienced tremendous growth and completed extensive investments in buildings and production equipment. In addition to administration and technical department, has a harbor in Økland state of the art facility for packing and processing of salmon and trout.
The company has also been through a major upgrade when it comes to hatcheries and aquaculture equipment. Bremnes Seashore currently has three plants for production of fingerlings, one in Vindafjord and two in Bømlo, as well as ownership interests in Sævereid Fish Facilities in Fusa. Oppdrettslokalitetane is distributed in several municipalities in Rogaland Sunnhordland and Hardanger. In total, Bremnes Seashore activity at 20 locations in nine different municipalities. With 183 employees in 20 locations and 100 tons of various products to be transported into the world every day.
Grieg Seafood and Bremnes Seashore will set up a jointly owned sales company for the operations in Norway, in a bid to strengthen the market orientation and focus on sales to end customers.
The new sales company will be based in Bergen, while sales activities will also be maintained at Grieg Seafood in Alta, Finnmark and at Bremnes in Bomlo, Hordaland. It will be in operation from the fourth quarter of 2010.
