Acoura was formed to provide dedicated, customer-centric assurance for a range of specialist schemes operating across the food, drink and environmental sectors.
Currently the Acoura group consists of two of the UK’s most established and well regarded certification bodies. These are Food Certification International (FCI) and Scottish Food Quality Certification (SFQC).
FCI currently offer accredited inspections for companies involved in aquaculture, commercial fisheries and seafood processing.
Acoura was formerly known as Certus Compliance Group and currently consists of two companies – FCI and SFQC. Certus Compliance Group – backed by Canter Equity Partners and its management team – acquired Scottish Food Quality Certification (SFQC) in a deal that involves an undisclosed amount of cash and equity.
