Court revokes another sanction that annulled Nova Austral's environmental permit

Step by step, the company Nova Austral has been asserting its arguments before the court in the legal debate for the three cultivation centers whose Environmental Qualification Resolutions were annulled last year, when the Superintendencia del Medio Ambiente applied what were the sanctions. most serious formulated for this industry in its history.

First, earlier this month, the Environment Court ruled to overturn the order expiring the RCA for the Cockburn 14 farm, and has now ruled in the same way in the case of the Cockburn 23 farm.

It remains to be seen what the judges will decide on the third center affected by the sanction, Aracena 10, although a resolution similar to those already issued should be expected.

As in the previous ruling, in its resolution part the Court rejected the sanction of revocation of the Environmental Qualification Resolution that the Superintendency intended to impose and ordered the records to be returned to that supervisory body.
