First of all, you should know that the jellyfish is known by experts as ‘Dosidicus gigas’, although perhaps more colloquial names such as giant squid or giant squid sound familiar to you. It is the largest cephalopod mollusk of its species and is found mainly in the waters of the Pacific Ocean between Peru and Chile.
