The work of our country’s fishing fleet was recognized as meeting the Commission’s requirements; not a single Russian vessel was included in the updated list of fleets engaged in IUU fishing.
The main event was the agreement on a new distribution of mackerel stocks. Our fishermen had the opportunity to fish for jack mackerel (Trachurus murphyi) in the open sea of the South Pacific Territory for 10 years. At the same time, the Russian national share in the horse mackerel catch quota was increased by 6.8% compared to 2023.
