Gomes da Costa Launches New Ad Campaign

  (BRAZIL, 3/24/2011)

Gomes da Costa, a national leader in sales of canned fish, has launched a new advertising campaign. The campaign aims to show that consumers can prepare practical, tasty fish meals based in Gomes da Costa’s products and the new site can also help with menu planning.

The campaign, created by advertising agency JWT, includes advertisements of 30 and 15 seconds, Internet ads and point of sale material, can be seen from 14 March to 14 May.

Gomes da Costa's website has been restructured, is more dynamic and useful to consumers

The campaign uses the fish as a healthy food choice for every day practice. Currently more than 50 healthy recipes, the website is the focal point of the campaign.

The website has been restructured, is more dynamic and useful to consumers. Therefore, the content has more new recipes. Each month consumers will be surprised with new recipes where they can find dishes to suit different needs and most diverse tastes, from those seeking a quick meal, to those who need something more elaborate or opt for a family recipe, even for those wanting a healthy suggestion.

The new website can also help with menu planning, offering practical, tasty fish meals based in Gomes da Costa’s products

To facilitate the search, a search system has been implemented which allows entry by type of product used in the preparation. In addition to photos of the dishes, consumers have access to nutritional information for each recipe.

Gomes da Costa has expanded its product offerings

Another highlight of the new site is the space devoted to sustainability. From now on you can follow the actions of Gomes da Costa in the preservation of natural resources. The company is an example of sustainable practices in the industry and was the first of its kind in Brazil to be certified by Friend of the Sea to ensure that tuna fishing will not harm the environment.

The content of the site also includes market and company news, plus health-related issues, where you can enjoy the benefits that bring fish consumption.
